Good day, readers and fast friends. We’ve settled on reading from the Women’s Fiction genre for our next book pick (September 1-30, 2023) and the author’s catalog we will be choosing from is Terry McMillan. I specifically chose her because I enjoy her ability to create three-dimensional characters that you either love to love or love to hate. Her writing style sucks you in and you become that fly on the wall.
Many of you may know of the following book-to-movie adaptation written by Terry McMillan, like:
