Bookstagram Reading Challenges for 2023

Hello there! I’ve been mulling over this for quite some time. Why? Because it’s normal for me to hesitate when it comes to sharing anything I intend to do. Why again? Because sharing and being accountable for results is scary. Luckily, as I get older, I no longer care to be a perfectionist. I’m just focusing on being my personal best and better than myself if attempting something more than once.

This year I have several goals or intentions and one of them is participating in more 2023 Reading Challenges. Specifically, Bookstagram Reading Challenges. I would like to take part in a Booktube Challenge or Read-a-thon, but between all the ARCs I’ve been approved for and these Bookstagram Reading Challenges, I really shouldn’t add more for FOMO (Fear of Missing Out).

The great thing about these challenges is that they often have prompts that one book can fulfill across more than one challenge. In order to keep track of what’s on my tentative reading list for each challenge, I will be utilizing The StoryGraph App and my Notion Database.

Below is a list of the 2023 Bookstagram Reading Challenges that I intend to participate in. More details can be found in the Instagram posts included in this post. If you are interested in which books I’ve chosen or read to fulfill the challenge prompts, please visit my Notion Database or my StoryGraph profile. My StoryGraph profile is more updated than my Notion Database. When there’s free time, I have been going through my StoryGraph profile and entering details in the Notion Database that I want to track and be mindful of for future blog posts. Now that I mention it, I’m debating whether or not to create a separate blog post category for each challenge to regularly update. Hmm…I’ll have to put a pin in that for now. Let me know what you’d be interested in seeing. 🙂

If you will be participating in any of these 2023 Bookstagram Reading Challenges this year, let me know in the comments section. If not, please share the reading challenges that you will be taking part in. I’d love to know. Let’s keep each other encouraged and keep READING!
